Healthy Seniors of Steele County has three offices.  Our Executive Director's office is located in the Owatonna Hospital on the second floor in patient administration.  Our Service office is located in Senior Place Owatonna. Our Blooming Prairie office is located in the community building.  
 
Healthy Seniors Program became a 501 (c) (3)  through the work of a dedicated steering committee and served the first elder resident in 1998.  The Owatonna Healthy Seniors Program dba Healthy Seniors of Steele County July 15, 2008.

 Demographics:  Steele County population is estimated at 35,000. There are 4,620 persons age 65 and over in Steele County (this number rises by 5.8% in 2010 and 17.8% in 2015); 720 age 85 and over (this number rises by 42% in 2015.  Nearly 50% of persons age 85 and over have Alzheimer’s Disease.  Caregiving issues and needs are on the increase and will continue to increase.
