If you live or work in the North End-South Como neighborhood and have an interest in helping to provide direction or leadership to the staff of the NE-SC Block Nurse Program, we would love to have you on our board. We need people from all walks of life to help us…business owners, health professionals, seniors, those with an interest in marketing or public relations. The main thing is to have a desire to help the elderly in our neighborhood to age in place.
Our current board is made up of 10 fun, energetic, thoughtful and caring people. We have a great time at our board meetings discussing the issues surrounding our program, providing direction to the staff and brainstorming on how to best help our neighborhood seniors. We have a fun board party before the holidays, help the staff host the annual Volunteer and Supporters Brunch, help deliver holiday gifts to our program seniors and do whatever else we can to support the staff and the program.

• Meeting time and frequency: Second Tuesday of the month from 6:30 PM – 8 PM.
No meetings in June, July or August.
• Meeting location: Front Hi-Rise Community Room
Expectations of Board Members:
• Time expectation: 3-5 hours/month
• Some committee work
